Corners of the circle….
There are no linear lines or corners in nature... Maybe this is why we have been fond of circular forms since our existence, because humans have developed by watching and imitating nature.
The sun, the source of everything, is round and scatters circular lights... When you throw a stone into the water, circles form... The shoots of many plants grow by opening from a round spiral... When people hold hands, they naturally form a circle... Maybe that's why Göbeklitepe or Stonehenge, which is 12 thousand years old, is circular. The first thing that moves humanity is; So the wheel is also circular. And just like our ever-revolving world, our eyes, through which we perceive everything in the world, are also round... We all started life in our mother's round belly, and maybe every time we were afraid or wanted to relax, that's why we pulled our feet to our stomachs and rolled up like a ball. Circles were always with us. When we punctuate a sentence, it is in a raindrop, in the trunk of a tree, in the planets and stars shining in the sky, in the center of a flower or in the center of a person's belly button...
Mesele, which adds meaning to objects with symbols, has been going around for 10 years and decided to make a new start with circles, the ancestor of basic forms. He created a very special collection under the name Orbis, which means globe in Latin and refers to our eyes, through which we perceive it, as well as our globe. A brand new story begins at the center of the eye and all other round symbols born in these lands... The world is turning, no matter what you say, everything we come to is an ISSUE...
