I am a yoga instructor living in Istanbul.
I worked as an event manager for many years. Due to the marketing sector, I have always planned and questioned for years and always curiously researched what is new.
My implementation of Yogazero.com was not by planning, but by staying in the flow. It emerged in line with my own yoga material needs and searches. I have gathered all the materials that keep me comfortable in yoga and share them with you on this site.
I attended my first yoga class in 2004, occasionally taking yoga classes at gyms for years. I started running in 2011. When I increased the running distances, yoga came back into my life and this time it became permanent.
As the distances I ran increased, I discovered that yoga provided serious mental and physical benefits to myself, and I increased my yoga practice.
In order to learn more about yoga, I received 2015 hours of Basic Yoga teacher training from Chris Chavez of Cihangir Yoga in 200. When I started my education, I did not dream of becoming a yoga teacher, my intention was to learn more about my hobby, yoga.
After the training, I immediately started giving lessons to both share my knowledge and improve my own practice.
In February 2016, I founded YogaZero.
I completed the Feet Up trainer training in Berlin in November 2017 and became the first and only Feet Up trainer in Turkey.
In July 2018, I completed 300 hours of “advanced yoga teacher training” from Dylan Werner. I completed my second 300 hours of advanced yoga teacher training at Cihangir Yoga in September 2019.
Because of my constantly curious, travel-loving and adventurous character, I attend national and international yoga camps, trainings and festivals, and share my experiences in my yoga classes.
I believe that we are all part of a whole, all living things, and that we can support each other.
